Localization is the process of adapting products or services to a specific international language or culture. This process includes translation, but goes much further. True localization considers language, culture, customs, technical and other characteristics of the target locale.
In order for organizations to sell successfully worldwide, accessing potential customers in the local language is necessary. Whether your product is software, collateral or a website, it is critical that the content is localized with grammatical differences, cultural sensitivities and stylistic choices in mind.
